Theme for 2020:  "Women Get the Vote."  The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was proposed on June 4, 1919 and became part of the Constitution on August 26, 1920.

As the youngest suffragette, Carrie Chapman Catt worked to get the 19th Amendment passed in the last state to hold out the vote on the Amendment. Often the credit goes to others; however, it was Carrie Catt's work who got the last state to vote to pass the Amendment. Hear her story of her life and times before, during and after women have the right to vote.
