Betty Intagliata (Vice-President) Betty Intagliata, a former history teacher, served as VAHS’s first president. For 30 years, Betty has been organizing the free educational programs that VAHS currently presents to the public as “The Betty Intagliata Lecture Series,” a program with permanent funding provided by the Bill Jervey, Jr. Charitable Foundation. In 2003, Betty initiated tours of the newly restored Venice Train Depot and established the Depot Docent program, serving as a docent herself for many years. In total, Betty served as VAHS president six times. |
