Board of Directors

Vice-President

Mike Donnellan

Mike was born and raised in the Boston area and has been a resident of Venice since 2012.  Mike has been a member of VAHS since 2021 and is an active Docent at the Train Depot and the Circus Train Car.

Throughout his business career, Mike was fortunate to be part of several successful leadership teams. In each case, he developed a clear and concise mission statement and worked tirelessly to build a team in support of that mission, so that each member could maximize their talents in support of the success of the entire organization.

He also has a strong desire to understand the lessons that history provides us, using those stories to help frame where we came from and where we can go in the future.

Now that he is retired, he can think of no better way to leverage his leadership skills and interest in history than to work with all the members of the Venice Area Historical Society in support of the historical preservation of this great area we call home.
